Definitely have a pocket square in your breast pocket though. It will dress the suit back up a little.
I would recommend either white or tan linen suits for a beach wedding. These colors will really match well with the beach environment. White always looks clean and crisp, so it’s always a good choice, while tan will go very with the sand. If it were my wedding, I would probably put the groom in white linen, and the groomsmen in tan, or vice versa.
Shopping for Linen Suits Online
A lot of people would advise against shopping for your wedding suit online, as you won’t know how it will fit you. I say that’s hogwash. Measure your shoulders and make sure the suit you buy fit them. It’s okay to have a little extra room in it, as you will need to have it tailored anyway. Yes, tailoring is a must for your wedding suit, guys. It will make sure you look as stunning as can be! Besides, most online stores have a good return policy these days, should the suit turn out to be too short, which is a bigger problem.
So, if you have a beach or summer wedding, a linen suit comes highly recommended by me. It will keep you comfortable in the heat and it will feel and look great. Whether you buy the linen suit for your wedding online or in a store is something that will be left up to you.
